The apartment is located on the second floor of an apartment building in the center of Girona. You will find the entrance just of the square Placa de Catalunya, in a pedestrian street called Carrer Ginesta, between Casa Cacao and Bar Cacao. When you enter the building there is a wide staircase, there is no elevator. We do the check-in directly at the apartment and not from our office. We meet you in front of the entrance. If you come by car, you must park first. There is no possibility to get to the front of the building. If you have a lot of luggage, closest you can get with a car is Placa de Catalunya, in front of Casa Cacao/Bar Cacao. When you are in the apartment it is for you, and for you alone. It's your home in Girona!
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), just a 6-minutes’ walk away, where you can find us for all your questions. We will be happy to answer your questions. For example: bicycle rental, restaurants, places to visit, booking a taxi, printing documents etc.
Our apartment is in Girona’s historic center, where car access is restricted, and parking is not allowed. Vehicles can only enter three times per quarter, so we recommend parking before check-in. After booking, you’ll receive access to a personal reservation page with parking details and more. While Girona is generally calm, some street noise and church bells may be heard if the windows are open. Tourist tax not included in the price (16+, max 7 nights).
The apartment is in central Girona, just outside the historic Barri Vell. You’re a short walk from the Cathedral, Jewish Quarter, and the colorful houses along the Onyar River. Explore cobbled streets, vibrant squares, artisan shops, and cozy cafés. Whether you're into history, local food, or festivals, everything is close by—perfect for enjoying Girona’s charm and lively atmosphere.
Girona airport is 20 min by taxi or 30 min by bus. Buses stop at the train station, a 20 min walk from the apartment. The station connects to Barcelona in 35 min and to Figueres for the Dalí museum. If driving, note the historic center has limited access (3 times/quarter) and no street parking. Streets are narrow and one-way, so we recommend parking before check-in. The apartment building is located on a pedestrian street in the center, and you are not allowed to come there with a car. Not even for a quick unload. So, if you come by car, you must park first.
There is a good car park nearby that we recommend, Saba Santa Caterina. There is also plenty of free parking, for example on La Copa, but that is a little further away.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a building without elevator.
Please be advised that the apartment is located in the center of the city. While Girona is not a busy ´24-7´ city, there may be some street noise if the windows are open. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
A late check-in is no problem, but we do have a policy (after 21:00).
Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges:
- From 21:00 to 23:00, 20 euro;
- From 23:00 to 00:00, 40 euro;
- Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible.
Of course, if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00:00 we will be there for you.
Tourist tax: Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. Tourist tax not included in the price (16+, max 7 nights).
